Resilience, Rights and Respectful Relationships (RRRR)
The Resilience, Rights and Respectful Relationships (RRRR) materials are designed for primary and secondary school teachers to support the development of students’ social, emotional, and positive relationship skills.
The RRRR learning materials include eight Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) topics across all levels of primary and secondary education: emotional literacy; personal and cultural strengths; positive coping; problem-solving; stress management; help-seeking; gender norms and stereotypes; and positive gender relations.
Students develop social and emotional skills to build healthy relationships, resilience, and confidence. This resource supports the implementation of the Health and Physical Education curriculum, as well as the Personal and Social Capability within the Victorian Curriculum 2.0. Respectful Relationships is now explicitly highlighted in the curriculum, and this resource; particularly Topics 7 and 8; supports schools in meeting these requirements.
Derrimut Primary School has aligned this mandated learning material within the school’s SEL scope and sequence across all primary year levels.
The materials are also available for families to access if you would like to learn more. Click on the image below to access.
